If this doesn't motivate you to vote in the Midterms, nothing will.

He’s not immoral by one standard. He’s amoral by all of them. No religion, region, class, tradition, or ethic claims him. No loyalty, curiosity, generosity, courage, or love. Not a rebel with values. Just a void with appetites.

I’ve been guilty of this too, but when I read people say, even though they’re trying to be nice, like “I disagree with Rob Reiner politically, but I am sad by his loss.”

Why do we always feel the need to talk about whether we agreed with somebody politically or not?

Still in a state of shock trying to process the tragic loss of one of the most gifted men in the entertainment industry & his wife when the Embarrassment-in-Chief disgraces common human decency with this repulsive, deranged statement.

We are dealing with such corruption in every aspect of our government, I don't know how we undo the damage.

I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

I can’t bring myself to listen to Ezra Klein after his cringe conversation with Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

You’d think “JUDGE WARNS TRUMP OFFICIAL NOT TO TEAR GAS CHILDREN” would be a gripping headline, but MSM disagrees apparently

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

This.
I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action

' Melissa Hortman was a Democratic lawmaker from Minnesota, brutally murdered—alongside her husband and her dog—by a conservative activist just 12 weeks ago. Her name deserves to be said in this moment. '

Mainstream pundits have instantly sanitized and ignored Charlie Kirk's core political project and its impacts. He has been remembered by the mainstream press as someone they merely disagreed with, a debate me-guy whose words and actions had zero consequences:

Charlie Kirk Was Not Practicing Politics the Right Way
The mainstream media seems entirely uninterested in explaining Charlie Kirk's work.

So I'm grumpy that we seem to be once again creating a dynamic in our party where the people who got to the right answer sooner are marginalized for doing so, while people who were wrong get credit for changing their minds once it became obvious they were wrong. (See also NAFTA, Iraq War, Gaza.)
