Pima County supervisors approved nearly $400,000 in emergency funding for WIC but postponed a $1.5 million decision for food banks and humanitarian aid until December. The delay comes as local food banks report a massive spike in clients due to the ongoing federal shutdown.

Total lunar eclipse coming Thursday night. Totality begins at 11:26 p.m., Arizona, and hits maximum at 11:58 p.m. The total eclipse ends at 12:31 a.m. Friday. Hopefully the 90% chance of rain NWS expects Thursday night doesn't ruin it. It would rain in S. AZ on that day of all days during a drought.

I spent time at the border wall south of Arivaca. A local aid group and partners make routine patrols along the wall and at a respite campsite. They look for crossers to help by providing food, water or a call to BP to pick them up, providing a life-saving alternative to an unforgiving desert.

It's not breaking news, but we're getting closer to construction with 2025 around the corner. You know how bad traffic gets if you ever drive through Irvington and I-19. It'll be a painful 18 months, but the upgrade is needed. Here's a little of what ADOT has planned.

It's not all on Korpi or Sway. They can save more, but #Bruins need to put up a better screen. Kraken 21 shots, sink 5. B's 34, get 1 in the net -- Marchand's penalty shot. Better shots will get them on the board, but better D will stop these embarrassing losses. Had to wash that down with whiskey.
