i need to be postin' and repostin' more. it's been tough to even just be active in friend servers because my family + my grandma have all been moving (plus i got a new job), so i've been busy n' tired.

The lack of mainstream coverage of regular huge protests reminds me of a talk from a Twitter employees who explained that they had to drop BLM off the Trending Tags section because otherwise it would have been there permanently. The modern media environment has no appetite for sustained movements.

I'm also majoring in music education, and have been feeling nervous about it due to the way culture in America seems to be shifting. However, these new chapters of Deltarune not only reassured me that there will always be good people, but it also showed me again how important a good teacher can be.

for most of this clip, the motorcycle engine is revving in tune with the music (here, it's at the third scale step). when there's just a long, droning pitch, that's generally referred to as a pedal tone. i just think it's wonderful that you're holding down the gas pedal to get this pedal tone here!

lots of smart people are saying dk bananza is mario odyssey 2 because it has a lot of similar design aspects, gameplay philosophy, and attention to / care for lore. now me, i'm keeping it simple by saying bananas and crescent moons are the same shape
