This is not a gigantic tour but it is MINE and I’m very excited to be visiting these places in support of THE NIGHT THAT FINDS US ALL. Especially stoked to be chatting with @cshumble.bsky.social who is a great dude in addition to being one of the most talented young writers coming up in the world!

Tis true.
I had a wonderful time chatting with these two incredible Arkansan authors! We sold books! We lived! We laughed! We, dare I say, loved!
Had a good day at Little Rock’s @barnesandnoble.com with @tlsimpson.bsky.social and @johnhornor.bsky.social and many others. John and Travis are good people.

On August 31st, one of my favorite places turns 30, and I’ve been invited to be part of the celebration.

2006 Jeff, browsing the thriller aisle, is in shock.

Im old enough to remember when U2 gave us all a free album. I’m also old enough to not know how to get rid of it.

I’m off work today and have been writing. How nice to do this during the usual workday. Lots of words put down and lots of bacon eaten.

Air fryer bacon is **chef’s kiss** just be aware of the cleanup!

In the late 90s when I decided to start writing, I didn’t have a computer, a word processor, or a typewriter. I wrote everything out by hand. Everything. I found one of my old notebooks today. Takes me back.

The thing I dislike most about querying is that it zaps my energy for writing. #Booksky

I just want to write. That's what I love.

Ever once in a while I wonder if those two people in Escape (The Piña Colada Song) are still together.

Kind of crazy over 5k people entered for a free copy of KC. I'm aware some books get many, many more, but it's still cool.

I feel like all free books should get an auto 5 star review. Just saying.

I'm officially querying.

Looking back, I sent my first query in 2017. That first book received more requests than I remembered.

Funny how the same agents have requested from me multiple times. Almost like reading is subjective or something.

A riveting thriller that explores morally gray areas. -Kirkus Reviews

the pulse-pounding suspense of Hanna’s seemingly inevitable death paired with her and Jude’s brewing chemistry drive this taut and edgy read. -Publishers Weekly

Not bad. -Jeff’s mom
