Our local animal shelter hosts "kitty literature," where kids can sign up to read to the cats. It helps socialize the cats and promotes reading. Since the cats can't share the same names to avoid confusion with recordkeeping, the staff has to get creative. They usually follow a theme.

A majority of U.S. adults (59%) say they don’t want to get an updated COVID-19 vaccine. This is roughly identical to the share who said in October 2024 that they probably wouldn’t get the updated vaccine.
