One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.
Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

idk how hot a take this is but I'd like if AAA games were developed within the limitations of previous gen hardware so they can run smoother on current gen
not everything needs to push the machine to its limits, we can use all that extra power just to allow them play good

The fact that they saw people leaving for Bluesky and immediately said "Okay we'll let you see posts from people you actually follow," just tells me they always knew nobody wanted to have "recommended" feeds shoved in their face, but they did it anyways.

Yknow I'm slowly coming around to the idea of being signed off work. It's day 3 of my second lot of two weeks off, so I've been off for 17 days total and I do feel rested. Just wish the slight guilt would leave.
