Manifesting sales for October.
My books are an epic fantasy reimagining of Sleeping Beauty. What if Maleficent was Aurora's mother and what if she wasn't really evil?
The latest is Queen of Thorns.

A while ago, I wrote a story for Curiosities called The Book Burning. They turned it into a downloadable or listenable audio story and I'm pleased to say it is still up. Check it out: gallerycurious.com/e/the-book-b...

When you are a writer and your daughter wants to help you kill off characters, she gets you this. @tkingfisher.com, what do you think?

I love MurderBot. I'm on book 5. If you are not reading Martha Wells and T. Kingfisher, you are missing out on some of the best language usage I've read in a long time. I know those authors and I use the same American English language to write, but I swear they have access to words I don't.

If anyone is wondering what my audiobook narrator for A Wrinkle & Crime looks like, here he is! The amazing Ryan Reid!

@tkingfisher.com Hemlock & Silver is fantastic and Grayling/Sergio is the best cat ever.

I wrote something about AI and no one on the Book of Face commented, which means that no one saw it. It was clearly suppressed by the algorithm. Trying again here. slipperywords.com/say-no-to-ai/
Say NO to AI - SlipperyWords
Say NO to AI. Meta's platform, LibGen, stole god-knows-how-many proprietary books to train its AI with no recompense to authors.

Made a version of chicken tikka masala and added saffron rice. Feeling pretty snazzy.

@rachelabrune.bsky.social look what you have to look forward to. 😊
December through early March is strawberry season in Korea. Which means you find things like this sandwich that has strawberries, ricotta, ham, lettuce, and pistachios on a sub sandwich. I was intrigued but not enough to buy it.

I’ve been thinking for a while about putting a crossed “AI” on my covers. This looks neater.

Now, we wait for this certification to become available for indie authors…

Nerve blocks for migraines today. I feel like a pincushion. Just did the novocaine not the steroids because I already have osteopenia in my neck. Don't want to make it worse. Anyone have any relief with these?

On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?
