Rightfully, the cuts to Medicaid (over 10M people will lose their health care) and the tax cuts for the rich have been the story of the disastrous Republican budget bill.

But I read the whole thing. And there are some hidden rats in there you need to know about.

We are turning into one of those countries where people just disappear off the street and we have no idea where they went.
They are just disappearing people off the street. Having a hard time thinking about literally anything else.
Not sure if this has been shared here yet, but this is video of Rumeysa Ozturk's arrest posted by WCVB. It's terrifying.

Unidentified men grabbing someone off the street and putting her in a car because she wrote an op-Ed. This as flatly authoritarian as anything we’ve seen in this country in a very long time.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

As we’ve reported on sexual misconduct by OB-GYNs, we’ve learned that many women felt they didn’t know what was normal during a visit, or didn’t know what they could do to speak up.

We created this guide to help fill this gap.

Republicans want a say on how broad a judge’s powers should be but they give Musk and Trump free reign? Make it make sense.
House Republicans don’t have the votes to impeach any federal judges.

The reality has prompted GOP hard-liners to back-channel with Trump allies on alternatives they could push across the House floor.
It’s not just impeachments. Republicans are eyeing other ways to rein in federal judges.
GOP leaders are seeking a release valve for the fury building over recent court rulings.

The judge said it best, “the cruel irony is that thousands of transgender service members risk &!sacrifice their lives to ensure the very equal protection rights the military ban seeks to deny them.” We must fight for ALL our military & I mean ALL 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

Every Democrat who votes for this needs to be held accountable. We need real leadership and need to find representatives who will step up for the people.
The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.
