Remembering Carroll Shelby, born #OnThisDay in 1923. A fine driver - he won Le Mans in ’59 - he’ll be remembered for the awesome Shelby Cobra. Pic: the first made, CSX2000, whose 260-cubic-inch Ford V8 drove it to 60mph in 4.2sec & on to 153mph in a ’62 #RoadAndTrack test.
