I remember finishing the game and being so bummed that it was over, then having the game go “Oh by the way, it’s not over, you’re going back to Kanto!” and I freaked out. It was amazing!
On this day in 1999, 25 years ago, Pokémon Gold & Silver were first released.
These games started the second generation and had you travel through Johto to defeat Gyms and defeat Team Rocket before heading back to Kanto!
