"Dog absolutely loving a car ride" is the kind of pure joy we can always use more of, so here you go:
It's true.
@jayrigdon.bsky.social and I came up with a sketch about "the people pleasing bad cop" and not to brag, but it would've been one of the best SNL sketches of the last decade

Guy doing luge PBP is a very bad broadcaster. Color analyst is great.

Stewart should actually get a bonus for this, and I say that as someone who isn't exactly a fan of the Pistons starting brawls. Bridges deserves to get punched more than almost anyone in sports.
Bridges throws a punch at Duren and Beef Stew leaves the bench ti try to fuck Bridges up.

If Eric Gordon hadn't gotten hurt I think he would have had at least one 50-point game, much less a 40. I realize I'm the only person who cares about this.
Indiana as a program has seen four 40-point games since 1990. Lamar Wilkerson now owns two of those.

44 (Wilkerson, Penn State, 12/9/25)
43 (Jackson-Davis, Marshall, 11/27/21)
41 (Wilkerson, Oregon, 2/9/26)
41 (Henderson, @ Michigan State, 3/9/94)

The Golden Gate Bridge is nowhere near Levi’s Stadium lol.
Always funny to see aerial shots of Boston for Pats games when Gillette Stadium is almost in Rhode Island.

It's wild that a Democratic politician is getting treated as edgy for comparing Trump to a Klansman when that's a stance my rural Indiana Reagan-loving uncle had back in 2016 when he became the Republican nominee

Pride myself on an acute sense of when Guy really isn't feeling a particular bite on Triple-D

It's kind of nice to know that as society decays NBC's stupid approach to Olympic primetime remains unchanged

So @lisamarietea.bsky.social is currently on a Mardi Gras float en route to the start of a parade and sent me this. New Orleans is an amazing city.

@caitlinmaycooper.bsky.social I always felt like Mathurin fits well in the role he had last postseason, but that role was never going to be worth paying him AND it was likely not going to be satisfying to him too. I think it's a very good trade and if they somehow keep a top-4 pick it's EXCELLENT

Watching my 9th minute of hockey in years and already saying things like "You can't waste a shorthanded breakaway like that, get something on frame"

I've never been a conspiracy theory guy, but you're never gonna convince me that there hasn't been a specific cabal of ultra-rich dullards trying to buy, strangle, and bring to heel all of the most important reality-shaping machines since the uptick in power labor had during COVID
WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Post says one-third of its staff across all departments, not just the newsroom, is being laid off.

Can't sleep and remembered in 7th grade English the teacher asked for an example of sarcasm and a kid offered "Have a nice TRIP, see you next FALL!" Dead silence. So I said "How about 'That was a good one, Daniel!'"

The whole class laughed and the teacher made me go sit in the hall for 15 minutes.

Performed one of my strongest bar patron functions just now: got the TVs changed to the most relevant sporting events while giving bartender clear directions as to which specific networks they were looking for

Amusing how a lot of people weirdly defended MIN for Darnold leaving by noting they made that call when they drafted JJ McCarthy as if that somehow made it more defensible only for the Vikings to say "No actually this is all fireable"
The Vikings are firing GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, a source tells The Athletic.
