It is INSANE that a 38-35 shootout is going on between two top teams and the broadcast is trying to push a "Caleb isn't accurate" narrative in the face of all evidence.

Broadcast is weirdly muted on praising Caleb Williams relative to the Purdy slurpfest. Every huge throw they praise the receiver or the coaching.

He's the only QB they talk about it with. I don't think it's a stat that comes up at all for any other game on any broadcast.
i won’t pretend that caleb williams doesn’t have accuracy issues he will eventually have to work through. he does. but this fixation on raw completion percentage in an era where it’s about minimizing negative plays feels like when the national broadcasts used to incessantly rail on analytics
