I've learned grieving often leads to creating exaggerated memories that either idealize or demonize the person or relationship lost. These Exaggerated images can become a major obstacle to healing, making it harder to move forward. Recognizing this is critical to healing. #Grief

I've been working on this tattoo for about a year and hope to finish it today. I don't really understand the whole tattoo addiction thing. For me, it's more about completing the project. If I never got another tattoo after this, I'd be completely satisfied.

Just read a scientific study about anger. There’s no scientific proof that venting reduces anger. Venting often goes beyond reflection into rumination.That doesn't mean anger should be ignored. Reflection can help us understand why we get mad and address underlying problems.

Processing my day at the gym.I recalled trying to describe a song I wanted a client hear. I said a song with a "R. Kelly/ gospel choir vibe ." The look reminded me a whole generation only knows him for one thing. I backtracked fast 😳 Good thing I let my clients know from jump I'm fallible.
