ABC Radio News this morning with a report of a suburban house fire in Brisbane's east. House partially damaged and no one injured. There are almost 20k house fires annually. How did this one make the "national" news?
No mention that the owner was "the voice" of Big Brother...our tax $$ at work.

Good English friends owned and operated an inn in Woodstock Vt for 8 years.. Doug (real name withheld to protect the guilty) liked to play up his English eccentricity eg: chopping firewood/shovelling snow in a yellow tartan "Rupert The Bear" suit and a bowler hat.

My main points were nuclear power is too slow to help with carbon targets and too expensive to help get bills down and a terribly dangerous legacy to leave (the toxic waste)…we have faster, cheaper and cleaner choices – they’re called the wind and the sun...

Anybody else note Trumps comment about the USA having huge income from tariffs in the early 1900s and NO INCOME TAX...I think we know where he's headed.
