A block just means I don't want to see your posts, I'm very picky
Penn Gilette going "gee maybe I was wrong" from on top of his giant pile of money in his pee-wee's playhouse mansion and the least credulous people on earth clapping at the principled libertarian for following the only thing he truly cares about (himself)

The movie theater industry refusing to let Netflix show their first films to disqualify them for academy awards is the entertainment industry equivalent of Obama roasting Trump for thinking he could be president.

Metroid Prime 4 is a real blast from the past, I can't remember the last time so many people were in denial about a much-anticipated followup very obviously not being what they wanted.

dang you can mod Planescape Torment to read vertically like Disco Elysium, this rules

Magic: The Gathering fans making fun of Disney Adults is like watching 7th graders bully 6th graders

I'm trying to stick to stuff more than a decade old for the main feed and this just made the cutoff point. Watching Redditors give themselves mental illness because they couldn't accept a video game series was over is even funnier now that Kojima has never been more prolific.

Next month I'm guesting on another show to talk about Boston and Shaun from the perspective of someone who was both a bad webcomics guy and a weird furry. It is always nice when you see these people are still making art and having fun twenty years later.

Gotta admit, it feels pretty hollow to watch people who spent a decade rightfully mocking groups like the oathkeepers suddenly act like they care a whole bunch about the constitution because they think it will trigger the chuds

Our episode on Home Of The Underdogs is up! Before torrenting, dedicated enthusiasts risked legal threats and sudden takedowns to make abandoned old games freely available. HotU was maybe the biggest and most influential, and its founder has been living a very cool life since then!

They call it abandonware, but I can't let it go

I can't believe I get to be the first podcaster to ever break the news that Luigi is in Super Mario 64!

One of the current big drama snark guys on Something Awful is a Steam card baron and vtuber superfan. It's like when I see other furries making jokes about Christine Chandler, these people are never going to like you or think you're cool you're just feeding the monster that will kill you one day.

Writing on the window glass in a burst of inspiration as I calculate the exact ratio of eye size to bust size that makes an artist cross the line from anime-inspired to gooner-pilled

So psyched for the new Watch Out For Fireballs on Hitman: Blood Money. Dropped right in the middle of me playing the World of Assassination trilogy for the first time as a ground floor Hitman fan (OG Codename 47 with the weird numpad controls on XP) so I'm nodding along intently the whole time.

Fred's playing Tropico 4 and since he's a fan of south american music he had to use a custom playlist. The soundtrack is all produced in Germany with an intentionally generic inoffensive mishmash of styles so if you're familiar at all it's like listening to Chuck E Cheese covers of songs
(Not) Tropico 4
This is not actually the music in the game. It is music I like to listen to while playing it.

I love the trans day of remembrance. Charlie Kirk and the the United Healthcare guy got forgotten almost immediately after they croaked while your average trans neet has people that will remember them for their rest of their lives. Everyone hiding behind a marble bust or anime girl could never.

I used to use Belyaev's fox domestication experiments to teach evolution in a small-scale practical way that students could understand (everyone loves dogs) so seeing those same mechanisms at work domestically is quite nice www.scientificamerican.com/article/racc...
City Raccoons Are Evolving to Look More Like Pets
City-dwelling raccoons seem to be evolving a shorter snout—a telltale feature of our pets and other domesticated animals

I got Stubbs the Zombie in a bundle for $5 and this is the most Millennial Humor thing ever made. Even the achievements are snarky without being funny.
