Made a garlicky dish last night but also cut open my finger and it bled quite a bit, so I can't tell if Dracula would be repulsed or attracted.

Hello welcome to bluesky. We have every kind of anti-government radical left of center, and also, baseball

Really regretting that I didn't tour the White House during my DC trip two years ago before 1/3 of it was destroyed. This was as close as I got.

Meant to mention this three days ago, but 100 years ago, on October 20, 1925, these two twenty-somethings got married!

Those are my maternal grandparents. Nice hat, Grandma!

Two of the three games I tried -- The Legend of Khiimori and Master of Command -- are on this list.

But my favorite, by far, was Shadow of the Road, which I think is an awful title but an amazing game.

Think Baldur's Gate 3 but with samurai, magic, and steampunk.

In 2015, e-sports was *so close* to being mainstream! By 2025, it would be on par with the NFL! Championship events would be broadcast alongside the World Series! And you could own a team with unlimited potential for just a few million dollars! It's a sure thing!
From WoW killers that never materialized to waiting on MMOs that still haven't launched, here are 10 things that haven't changed about the MMORPG genre since 2015

Watching some pro Marvel Rivals, and both teams are running 1 DPS, 2 tanks, and 3 healers. A team in the last match was running 3 tanks and 3 healers.

Role queue is coming, that's a guarantee. They can't have half the roster be DPS and see them hardly used.

And now it can become the best MMORPG ever because it exists only in the mind and was never released for people to be disappointed by it.
Well, this sucks: NetEase has abandoned another western MMORPG, this time Greg Street’s Project Ghost

At the Decipher holiday party of 1996, one of the prizes offered up was a PlayStation. I really, really wanted it ... and I didn't win it.

A few months later, April 1997 I think, the guy who won it offered to sell it to me and I immediately accepted.
Thirty years on, former SIE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida recalls the European launch of the PlayStation - and the Nintendo PlayStation prototype that started it all. "It was almost helpful that Nintendo cancelled the project," he says.

I'm never going to get used to hearing about something in "21" and not immediately thinking it means 1921 instead of 2021.

Also Gamers: "I have to travel more than 100 feet to do a quest? Unacceptable!"

I played Hades on Game Pass but didn't beat it when my time was up, so I figured "it was good but whatever," but I watched a stream of Hades II and thought, "damn, I'd like to play that"

Look on the bright side -- in 50-100 years or so, there will be some amazing video games about the times we live in now, once they're far enough removed from the present that we can view them as entertainment.

Can't wait to play Modern Warfare: Cancel Culture and Assassin's Creed: 2025.

When Tarkin ordered the destruction of Alderaan, he did so in a calm and measured voice, so it was OK.
He argued with civility. It's a start.
What disagreements, exactly, was he bridging via his work and words?

Looking through Street View at places I used to live and I just kind of want to go there again and wander the streets. No particular goals, just "cruise the old neighborhood," so to speak.
