JOHN KOCH (1909–1978) was a celebrated American portrait and figurative painter, best known for elegant interiors and upper-class society scenes. Working against the rise of abstraction, he upheld luminous realism, subtle narrative, and refined social observation.

What made Frank Frazetta so great is that in addition to his obvious technical skill, he had such a clear artistic vision. And that vision was of a fantasy world full of perfect asses. Even when he drew Lord Of The Rings it looks like it could be cover art for TailEnds magazine (that's a real thing)

My uncle (other dad) passed away on Tuesday and I hate that my first thought was that at least he doesn’t have to deal with this shit anymore. The physical & psychic damage that people are experiencing every single hour has to stop. We’re Milla ,when she learns about war, but from morning to night.

This year, I have no strong opinions about any of the Oscar nominations. I would love to see Wunmi Mosaku win. I disliked Weapons, but would be happy with Amy Madigan winning as well. There’s no White Savior movie for best picture so that’s good. Otherwise everything seems pretty solid.
