Are you a scientist?

Is your research cool?

Do people not adequately appreciate how cool your research is?

I'm looking for researchers to feature in Q&A-style interviews on my blog and would love to hear from (or about — embarrass your friends!) scientists interested in sharing their work. 🧪

This is a major achievement. Taking a One Health approach to prevent pandemics and develop early detection systems is critical. Well done to all involved, it was a long road.
Historic pandemic treaty is a triumph in a world being torn apart
Global agreement on a pandemic preparedness plan came against all the odds. Now all parties must follow good intentions with concrete actions.

Australian government estimates total fertility rates to increase year on year over the forward estimates underlying the federal budget. Seems optimistic to me.

Such a great read here! I only started thinking about all this after Animas left the market. Seeing Insulet take over its own distribution and entering the UK tariff and holding hands in our clinics to get access here. Built Loop on 01/08/2019. AAPS for the kiddo later, then myself and he's now OP5.

Hey Chris - yes we are here on Bluesky #T1D and I am sure a few of us can help you out. The horror of hypos underwater is a big fear, isn’t it? And tech coming unstuck - in all senses of the word! Not really a holiday - more a change of location?
Sitting by the pool watching my Type 1 Diabetic 9 year olds blood sugar like a hawk, thinking of others in the same boat over the holidays. Any other #T1D parents here on Bluesky? I’d love to connect and support each other.

Good to find you here @jasmineschipp.bsky.social. ‘Psychic weight’ is a brilliant phrase. My brother-in-law died because he was not ‘good at math’ #T1D and I am up at 3am (again) fiddling with correction factors to make sure same does not happen to my son
"I do that. Manually. Every diabetic does, and the mental pressure - the intense background psychic weight of it all - is overwhelming. We want to lower the cognitive load of diabetes. This is a disease where you may not live as long if you're not good at math. Literally. That's unfair."

Lots of academics on this place--so exciting. I'd love to get to know you better. Could you reply below here with a link to *one* article or book you recently co-authored that you love, and a brief description of what it's about?
You can reskeet this for wider uptake so we get a nice list!
