If you are critical of israel, or have ever criticized Israel in the past you are now ineligible for us citizenship. I suppose Free Speech was good while it lasted 200 some odd years but I guess a four nations feelings are more important than our rights as aspiring us citizen.

The recent rollbacks of the state department regarding what is considered human rights abuses and violations, should be deeply concerning and alarming to all of us. Because a lot of the things that they are rolling back can be applied to the United States as well.

Texas passed the school choice bill. Touting it as good for our students and parents, it completely disregards the facts that each state that has previously passed this has seen the $$ go disproportionately to wealthy kids 70-80% of the funds

All this talk by the administration about deporting US citizens who are quote unquote criminals, should alarm and horrify everybody. Not only is it on constitutional, it's unlawful. Because you know fully well he is the only one to decide what is a criminal worthy of deportation

I honestly believe that the United States is now headed into a weird but horrific amalgation of Fahrenheit 451, 1984, the handmaid's tale, and all these other dystopian novels. It's almost as if the Republican party took them not as fiction but as a blueprint on what laws they should pass.
