The Kennedy Center was given its name by an act of Congress after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Pretty sure its current board, which includes revered fine arts dignitaries like Laura Ingraham, Pamela Jo Bondi, Maria Bartiromo, and Lee Greenwood, can't undo that law.

He was a man interested in the arts, culture, education, language, history... It is beyond comprehension that the president has sought to rename this great memorial.

C’mon my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny... It’s downright weird.

Just like it’s still the department of defense

Trump freed a guy who ran a firm that took $2 billion from Americans seeking to increase their portfolios for retirement -even as its executives used the money to fund lavish lifestyles.

Trump freeing him is a bitter pill for folks trying to get back their money.

What we’re seeing with the US is a systematic self-dismantling of a Western country.

I’m baffled. Why?

Yes, Trump is a Russian agent. He has to be. But why is everyone in his government going along with this?

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

The Supreme Court, Presidency, Senate and two party system are all quite anti-democratic institutions as presently constructed.

Our institutions are not only incapable of preventing tyranny—they’re currently enabling it.

When democracy returns, we need to reform our political system.
