Saint Paul the Hermit by Jusepe de Ribera (c 1640), Meadows Museum. Every time I visit I must see these hands. Long ago, I imagined myself an artist, and I struggled with hands. I look at these and I feel my own aged, aching fingers clutching the rosary. #ArtSky
