Extremely saddened by the unnecessary demolition of the @washingtonpost.com. What a massive blow for the Metro area, our country, and the whole world. Really fucked up.

Now that's hard hitting news!!!

Sure, they're leading with the lips, but they're going after it HARD!
"Marco Rubio, we salute you!"

A real thing that was said by the CBS Evening News anchor tonight.

I don't know if anyone has heard about it, but there was some really big news last night. I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail with my 12yo (13 in 2 days!) last night and I saw multiple belly laughs and he stayed to watch the whole thing!

A colleague today: “The NIH institute director ousters are relatively a side issue…”

And I said: no! The institute dirs are incredibly important.

Compare to DOJ. In the two orgs, the NIH inst directors may have more power than the heads of the DOJ Civil Division, Crim Div, Antitrust Div etc. 1/

Not many people know this, but in hockey they call the penalty box the "sin bin" and this term derives from Spanish. This is because when a player is in the sin bin, their team must play on without them.

While the advice is great, the real genius is "the brain is the ass of the head". It works on so many levels.
Well, actually just two levels, but it's deadly accurate on both.

In my L & M class, I taught how theta rhythm starts as soon as walking starts and stays on the whole time.

After class, I called my wife, as I always do. I told her that she was my theta rhythm, since I'm always talking to her when I'm walking.

This is the most romantic thing I've ever said.

I used to live in an apt right across the street from this place in grad school. Every morning I'd chat with the guys working there as I walked my dog. They were hard working, honest dudes working there then, and I'm sure just like those detained. This kind of shit is as UNAMERICAN as it comes.
“Three days after immigration agents raided an Allston car wash, the lawyer representing the nine workers who were detained says he still has not been able to contact some of his clients — or even confirm where they are being held.”
