Getting pretty tired of Labour tacitly acknowledging court supremacy over parliament in this one particular case only.
Angeliki Stogia (Labour). Angeliki broadly performed well, but she felt very hemmed in by her government's record. When questioned about trans rights, for instance, she stated that the Labour Party would always stand against transphobia and that they couldn't just change the supreme court decision

This cover looks like a meme, and one that's not flattering to the white guy.
A base that has long made pragmatic, sober decisions appears increasingly attracted to charismatic outsiders who promise to break from the party’s failures of the last decade. They see their party’s leaders as feckless and inept.

He can't seem to stop himself from talking about Epstein' and children.
VAN HOLLEN: Did you in fact make the visit to Epstein's private island?

LUTNICK: I did have lunch w/ him as I was on a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife was with me as were my 4 children and nannies. We had lunch on the island. That's true. For an hour. We left with all of my children

I don't want to be all 'immigration fixes everything' but if you want to fix the British High Street, get more immigrants. We love going to little shops for a little shopping.

America is truly cooked when my 80-year-old mostly apolitical-somewhat-rightwing Polish father-in-law starts the conversation with 'that Trump guy is crazy, no?'

"Kids will bypass social media bans with VPNs" - first, we're depending on forcing children to bypass the law; second, as someone who's lived through several social media collapses, unless you coordinate everything beforehand it's very difficult to recreate a social network elsewhere from scratch.

It was bad enough for internet to geolocate everything to another country whenever I cross the border, but auto-translating all the websites to another language based on location is just taking the piss.

The problem with trying to replicate Dubai's migrant labour model (apart from obvious moral implications) is that UAE is one of the world's smallest countries next door to one of the world's largest pool of cheap labour. It just doesn't scale to somewhere the size and location of UK.
