Last year I drove a woman from the DMV (TX) to her rental home. She was in tears because she was trying to renew her drivers license and wasn’t able to do so because she was divorced but didn’t have the paperwork probing her name change. The paperwork was in NV. The agency in NV …
This isn’t a TV plot-it’s real. Students, renters, women who changed their names, & rural voters w/o easy access to records will be affected. The SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship w/specific docs or lose their voice. The people get pushed out completely. This is a solution w/o a problem.
