Yojimbo: Lone Ronin comes into a town divided by two warring factions. I did not expect this to be funny, darkly funny, but funny with bursts of intense violence and violent moments. Entertaining, thoughtful. A lot of big face acting. 4 stars.

Watched Weapons last night and have to say I was disappointed. So. Excellent premise and some pretty good storytelling. But the jump scares weren’t that scary, and the core revelation was a big nothing burger for me. Clearly, other people loved this film. 2.5 stars because, disappointed.

You know, losing weight over sixty is a little like chipping away at a slab of granite that's cranky cause it hasn't had its coffee. It just won't give.
Having said that, I am officially down about twenty pounds. All good except that I still look like this sheep.
