I’m excited to work with Mayor-Elect Katie Wilson to make Seattle better!
Katie Wilson is now almost certainly Seattle's 58th mayor. We spoke just now: "We’re going to wait for all of the ballots to be counted, but I think we won this race." www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...

USPS made a policy change earlier this year so that mail may not get postmarked the day it is picked up and this means that ballots sent on Election Day may not be counted. Vote as early as you can and use a ballot drop box. This won’t be fixed by 2026 or 2028.

Time to give comment to Seattle City Council 📢 tell them to vote yes and move forward with the proposed Crisis Care Center at the former Polyclinic on Broadway! It’ll provide emergency mental health and drug care, and it’ll make that part of Capitol Hill safer.

I like the clear icons in liquid glass though I’m having to train my brain to find things again. It’s kind of like using greyscale to make your phone less appealing to look at and overuse.

Hey Seattle 📣 you have a chance to stop the city from massively stepping up surveillance. The police don’t need to be able to track your every move outside of your apartment. One of the best ways to stop 🧊 from tracking you is to not collect the data at all.

Traffic engineering is such a pseudoscience. The Ballard Bridge traffic study just assumed traffic would exceed capacity by 20% in 2040, which they call "crunch flow," and then worked backwards to a 1.2% annual increase.
