One thing I love is they do flash sales, like free range chickens from £20 to £11 so I schnaffled a couple.

Ok ok so my butchers knot needs some work 😳 but I tried this. Deboning FR chicken legs, stuffed with Italian sausage meat, tied up and cooked. Used bones for a gravy and served with hasselbak potatoes.

It’s stifado today but one of my pet hates, peeling shallots (yup, boiling water etc but still a pain).
However, you can’t make omelettes without cracking eggs, Rome wasn’t built in a day, one in the bush is worth some more somewhere else.

It’s stifado today but one of my pet hates, peeling shallots (yup, boiling water etc but still a pain).
