Thank you! I've been saying that forever: Once Superman starts deciding who lives and dies, he becomes a god - which is what Snyder tried to turn him into in that god-awful 2nd movie.

Exactly! It feels like Superman and not whatever Zack Snyder turned him into. The “Man of Steel” teaser gave me goosebumps, but then the movie dropped and I was so underwhelmed. Like it was good, but Superman was so emo, it just didn’t come off right, plus a Superman that kills isn’t my Superman.
Absolutely. The bright colors, the score - this one is starting to feel... right.

Man of Steel is a great action movie, but as a Superman movie, that shit sucks ass!! I can’t wait for this new one to drop. It’s giving me the classic Richard Donner vibes. Trailer drops tomorrow!

I’m getting the vibes that the new DCU going forward isn’t actually going to be a new continuity. Just from how much we already have established that’s supposed to be part of it already. Everything that happened in the DCEU is still canon but we’re just changing the overall tone of the universe.
