I was talking to a European reporter, they basically said the world is in a new age Cold War, all while the US holds off mass collapse or a spark of organized violence. Everyone feels it but it doesn’t get said enough.

I really don’t think it was abortion, states won abortion rights even with a trump majority because it’s a bipartisan thing people want.
I think Dems focused on stuff like fracking, border wall, and acting like everything is okay while groceries suck and rent is worse.

The validation people are gonna get for their hatred and violent actions is crazy, My father showed up after J6 clicking his boots, I cannot imagine how he's gonna feel after a presidential pardon. He was willing to die for someone who used him and didn't even know he existed.
January 6 defendants and convicts are now being released.
First, Matthew and Andrew Valentin.
They pled guilty to multiple felonies in September 2024.
Among other crimes, they both assaulted law enforcement officers by using pepper spray and using a chair to strike them.

Bought a handgun and a rifle. But the only thing that will protect us is community and organizing.

Its so painful to watch. The Democrats have been in shambles the last few years, they couldn't even vote on a NLRB leader. With 12 democrats passing the Laken Riley act on top of that?
Hope they get it together soon enough or just split a strong inner party i.e. the tea party but for the left.

yeah, messaging was so rough. Acting as if everything is okay in high spirits just doesn't sit well with voters, especially as they shake a fascist's hand into the office and give him a loud round of applause.

I understand that. Regardless, I voted for Harris, but everything the campaign ran on was center-right. It just feels like they are gonna keep slipping down this path and I want them to win but the voter base is hurt.

I'm so hurt by the Democratic Party fumbling this election cycle, am I wrong to place the blame on them? It seems every step of the last year was a shot in the foot for the party. Now people like me and thousands of other families pay the price.
