Chad West’s heel turn into an oligarch stooge was not on anyone’s bingo card when he was elected , was it?

You know the fix is in when the southern Dallas pastors suddenly have an interest in a big real estate project not in their neighborhoods.

It would be interesting to reexamine Mary Suhm’s legacy on Dallas as a whole and specifically downtown.
“Many of the building’s key systems, such as electrical, plumbing and elevators, are beyond their expected useful life, [and] the longer they go without upgrade and replacement, the more likely they are to fail.”

No, this was not a quote about Dallas City Hall.

Don’t believe the hype. Most of the easy conversions in downtown are complete. Only a portion of 1980s highrises can be converted. Oh, and most banks won’t lend for these risky conversions, so DDI wants more taxpayer money. The neverending downtown revitalization.

Bad advice. Always go to the DFW airport web site.
You can download the My TSA app on both major app stores, no matter if you have an android or Apple device.

Once you add DFW Airport or Love Field to your favorites, it will constantly display a TSA wait time at both airports every time the app is opened.

What to do if your flight at Love Field, DFW Airport gets canceled
Flight cuts are anticipated to climb next week and peak by Nov. 14.

Regarding the fate of city hall, count the number of stories your read or see that tomorrow that identify the developers pushing the tear down. The answer will be zero because in Dallas we don’t hold business leaders accountable for wasting tax money because they spread the bread.
November 3, 2025 at 9:31 PM
We keep giving that money to be wasted by the same people, and “for some reason” our media ecosystem will not call out their failures. How many times will we restart downtown revitalization?
If there was an honest accounting of Eco Dev money, we'd realize we've been setting money on fire for decades but Dallas did just authorize $3.7B on a convention center, so.
The other part is the eco dev but some of that will be in closed session.
