Severance's eerie Arsenal FC myth, debunked
As far as creator Dan Erickson is aware, the recurrence of Arsenal player names on Apple's workplace drama is all one big coincidence

Late to the party but had a tremendous time with LOVE LIES BLEEDING, which reminded me a ton of TITANE in its gnarly attention to dysmorphia and the violence we enact on our bodies. Plus DRIVE for clearer reasons of style and genre. So gross and romantic

One of my favourite shows of the year is spy thriller BLACK DOVES, in which Ben Whishaw plays a gay assassin and Keira Knightley is his glam partner-in-espionage. And it’s Christmas. What a present: www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/blac...
Black Doves is a gritty gay spy thriller that's going to take over Christmas
The queer overtones of Netflix's Christmas espionage caper, starring Ben Whishaw and Keira Knightley, elevate it beyond familiar crime-thriller fare

Trans people warned us it wouldn’t stop with transphobia which is why the likes of the LGB Alli*nce can absolutely go fuck themselves
Rainbow Laces does feel an empty gesture whilst clubs continue to do business with places with appalling LGBTQ+ rights.

Fact is though, there’s more opposition to it now than I can ever recall. Heading in a very dangerous direction when simple campaigns like this are now being seen as radical.

not to log on as the “hot frosty” defender but why are people writing it off as hammily written schlock. this is the entire point of “hot frosty.” every rote little gag is delivered with a knowing smirk. i mean, it’s a film about a hunky snowman. you don’t get more parodic. it’s called “hot frosty.”
