The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

Is it legal for a notice for inspection from a landlord to be for a 21 day span? It lists M-F, 9-5, from 3/10 to 3/31.
This seems outside the realm of "reasonable notice" and intrudes on the private use of my unit. We're essentially being asked to live as publicly accessible for 3 weeks, correct?

We sent off the first college application for my oldest yesterday; She's only 14! What a blessing it is to have CCP available where she can achieve college credits alongside her HS credits. I am immeasurably proud of her!

I was the first Gen to attend college, but didn't do so until I was 30.

The best idea our library system has had so far this year is to "challenge" our winter readers to read something outside of their usual genres. This has led in a spike of holds for non-fiction titles, a lot of them history based.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.
