Always proud to work at @metrouk.bsky.social, but especially proud today, on the launch of This Is Not Right: A year-long Metro campaign dedicated to addressing the ongoing epidemic of violence against women

My latest for Daye is about going through morning sickness when you suffer from emetophobia (a fear of vomit) and it was fascinating to write: www.yourdaye.com/vitals/women...

We give way too many standing ovations at the theatre these days. If every production is special then none are.

@izzieprice.bsky.social sums up how I feel perfectly

Books matter.
Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

Out today, my latest feature for @metro.co.uk's 'This Is Not Right' campaign is about how domestic abuse and pregnancy are closely linked. Huge thanks @forbabyssake.bsky.social for the work you do, and thanks @jessaustin.bsky.social for commissioning me!

In the spirit of spreading positivity on here…I feel so lucky that I get to have a hybrid career where I can spent the morning teaching Pilates at a beautiful studio, and then head to my local cafe to crack on with writing a fascinating feature ✨ a happy Friday indeed!

London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated

Wait, Andrew Tate got banned here? Already?

Friends, see, this is an Echo Chamber. Now we’ll never know the nuanced opinions about important issues from an international criminal accused of rape and sex trafficking.

I really don’t understand this whole ‘stay on Twitter and fight’ thing. You’re jousting with bots and reply guys and wading through ads it’s not Waterloo.

Really? How pleasant.
Andrew Tate got banned from Bluesky in less than one day.

Another reason things are so much better here than Twitter.

Yes, libraries are invaluable for their collections and public services they offer, but also social contact without the expectation to interact with anyone or spend any money is so important to so many people

Working in the @oldvictheatre.bsky.social cafe is truly the most inspiring, rejuvenating experience. Love being surrounded by creative people having creative conversations about creative things. Very much here for any other top tips on good WFH spaces! ☕ 💻
