I was unimpressed when I received a propaganda pamphlet in the mail, two days ago, stating that the Liberals were pro taking away the freedom of religious speech. Personally, it disgusted me. I am so sick of hearing Conservatives spew nothing but crap instead of trying to come up with a solution.
Religion certainly seems to be closely tied to hate crimes and hate speech. No binary is more deeply divisive than the saved and the damned. Given that religion is, at best, a social imaginary, and that hate crimes are real, measures must be taken to prevent religious hate-baiting and rage farming.

My heart hurts for the community of Tumbler Ridge. Not only for the victims, who lost their lives needlessly, but for an 18 yr old who obviously needed mental health care. Perhaps, if the teen received the help they obviously needed, this tragedy could've been prevented.

I've family that was born after world war II in Germany and it was a miserable place. Why do you think Germany works so hard now to make sure that it never happens again?
