My other takeaway here is that the Flyers are absolutely scared of some team looking at the wasteland that is next summer’s free agency pool and throwing a ton of money at Dvorak, but man, if this is what it took to prevent that … i dunno.

ok i have liked Christian Dvorak and would not mind him as a short-to-medium term placeholder while you look for other long-term options at center but you cannot give him a five-year deal. can not do that. would be the most short-sighted move of Briere’s tenure.

Wonder if the Eagles/NFL/city/whatever powers that be are trying to get the Flyers to push their game on Saturday to the afternoon. Feel like Saturday night is the slot that logistically makes the most sense for that game (tho they may not want Eagles/Niners to be on Prime so idk for sure).
