it is absolutely at least ~60% this. I understand that the captain's job is different but if Nic Deslauriers said the same thing Couturier said a non-negligible portion of the people who are mad at Couturier would be cheering it on as "tough love" or something like that.
Small but very devoted contingent of flyers fans extremely ready to see couturier in a negative light at every opportunity.

i was on vacation for the past week (no big deal to me) and last night when i saw people losing their minds about what Couturier said about Michkov and then actually watched the video i felt like i was on another planet
This past weekend was my final breaking point with what Flyers Twitter has become. And they weren't even mad at me! (Mostly.)
It just cemented that rationality has completely gone out the window in that space. I still have to post there, but the people running Flyers Twitter now are just nuts.
