What are good beginner books to get into post-colonialism?

I’m finishing a philosophy course right now, and I found it interesting. But I’m not sure where to go from this basic class to learn more about post-colonialism. Would love any recommendations!

I kinda wish adoption was more open ended, in the sense of the adoptee has more access to their information. I think that’s a benefit a lot of new adoptees have that I don’t. Which I’m happy for them :)

The early Republic of China (1912-1928) had the famous "Chinese Pride" flag representing the "Five Nationalities." Similar flags had already been in use before. E.g. here's one used by the Daqing 大清 military during the Panthay Rebellion (1856-73), just with a different arrangement of the stripes.
