It's probably pretty likely that Trump has "written" more books than he's read right?

This is a weird one for me because I genuinely don't believe there's a point at which a TV series has nothing new to say and *needs* to end. You can always find new angles/stories/characters. A lot of long running shows go bad, but imo that's the fault of the writers not innovating.
Name a TV show that overstayed it's welcome

I do think South Africa should administer Antarctica. I know other countries are already in the area and far as I know South Africa has expressed no interest in it, I just think it would be neat.

High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs is maybe the most stupidly EU title in the European Union, real bland by-committee naming

I do find it interesting that Rowling has shown no interest in writing or green-lighting another Potter sequel. Either the weird play feels to weighty or bad for her to continue on, or she feels she can close it definitively. Interesting to compare to other YA books going on and on with new series

The other thing about the 2026 World Cup is it's supposed to be held jointly across the US, Canada and Mexico. Unclear if FIFA will reconsider if the US invades the other two by the summer

All cities should have themes for their street-names, if large enough several themes. For instance, the capital should have streets named after the provinces and counties of the country at large, but a university town could be named after elements. To me, this is the essence of civilisation

Both the Tina Fey episodes of Bob's Burger have this serene, unusual structure and set-up, real unique niche to the rest of the show.

They're these heart-warming (seasonal!) stories about sibling love and weird but intriguing art and mundane secrets. They feel nougaty, satisfying.

I've always been Omelas sceptic, bc I don't like the affect the story is told in, but that said, basically all Omelas response stories miss out on the interesting fact that life is ecstatically good for the other people in Omelas. That's the SFnal heightening, slightly beyond applicability
