The writing of this book provided me with sheer escapism during what has been one of the toughest years for my family. On that basis, if you are looking to curl up and get lost in a Parisian saccharine snowstorm of will-they-won't-they, I highly recommend it ;-)

25% into my book club read and I'm surprised to be enjoying it! From a foodie perspective, it ticks all the boxes and as someone who used to work with Korea a lot, I'm loving the insight into the culture. But it is a weepy read. And I don't do emotional fiction. Must confess to skimming those parts!

Can you imagine how hard it is to add words to your MS when you know that Rafa has just stood for the Spanish national anthem with tears in his eyes before (potentiallly) his last ever tennis match... & you are just 2 bus stops away from the stadium and need to give him a big hug? #daviscup #malaga

Liking this place a lot but... it isn't half giving me first date vibes. First date with new friends/romantic prospect/prospective in-laws/job/bestie's new boyf/neighbours' dinner party. Somebody is going to slip up soon. This level of niceness surely can't be sustained?

Knowing that GB and Slovakia are playing in the semis rn in the #BillieJeanKing Cup, just a 20 min walk from my apartment here in #Malaga... & having seen them both last wk IRL... & being British with hub & kids of Slovak heritage, it's no flipping wonder I am struggling to write a damn word today!

Sooooo nearly there. 85k and now I need to choose my words very carefully to wrap up this romcom. It's a whole different and exciting subgenre this time and it is nearly ready to sub. I have zero expectations after getting burned many a time but it's niche and we've gotta dangle it to trad first!
