The writing of this book provided me with sheer escapism during what has been one of the toughest years for my family. On that basis, if you are looking to curl up and get lost in a Parisian saccharine snowstorm of will-they-won't-they, I highly recommend it ;-)

25% into my book club read and I'm surprised to be enjoying it! From a foodie perspective, it ticks all the boxes and as someone who used to work with Korea a lot, I'm loving the insight into the culture. But it is a weepy read. And I don't do emotional fiction. Must confess to skimming those parts!

25% into my book club read and I'm surprised to be enjoying it! From a foodie perspective, it ticks all the boxes and as someone who used to work with Korea a lot, I'm loving the insight into the culture. But it is a weepy read. And I don't do emotional fiction.
