I genuinely shed a tear when he says "We have hope always and we will never give up".

Just like fucking hell man, with all the political nihilism we can all be guilty of in the West to hear someone express such hope in the face of such horror would move anyone surely.

Of all the interviews I've done, this one had the most emotional impact on me. Iyad's dedication to non-violence in the face of years of imprisonment, his son's being shot and his family being murdered is genuinely awe-inspiring.

The walking times on Google maps are based on the walking speed of cowards and dawdlers. I will always best them.

The cycling speeds however are seeming based on some Tour De France freak and I will never get anywhere close to beating them

Cool we're bringing back the asbo era. Even I managed to get the first warning towards one despite being broadly well behaved and growing up in a small town.

I'm the belly of the beast in that there London. Finally visiting the much hyped Pelican House to have an iftar with comrades and talk about building Apartheid-Free Zones in solidarity with Palestine across this god forsaken capital city of ours.

Jesus Christ man... We have had successive governments implementing increasingly Draconian crackdowns on various forms of protests yet through that an increasingly radicalised reactionary fringe of people becoming determined to hit protesters with their car.

Solidarity with the protesters

Tried doing some coding using python and a lot of support from both my sister and ChatGPT last night. Is genuinely impressive how with a very very basic understanding of some of the logic and AI help you can do an ok job... I do lack the basics though so results were very hit and miss

Labour would let arts, culture and learning in Wales crumble away to nothing so long as it saves a few pence. Not that it will.
The Minister knows full-well that the funding model for universities is totally broken. She and her Welsh Govt colleagues have the power to address this but are currently choosing not to - despite £1.2B+ a year of HigherEd related spending...

Just read that the WhatsApp group Andrew Gwynne was posting all his comments in had 44 members at its peak.

It's genuinely mental that an MP would be posting things like that in a group that big. What did he think would happen??

Shows how untouchable they think they are.

Women getting the ick about men also just isn't new?

Like it's the punch line in literally 1000s of sitcoms over decades where a female character and the male lead have been dating and she catches him doing something weird / shocking and immediately leaves him and never shows up again
