I will continue to say this to whoever will listen: Teyana is great and Chase is a force, BUT Regina Hall acts solely with her face like so few actors can. Carries so much without speaking in this movie. She’s criminally overlooked in a great cast.

My mailman doesn’t accept gifts because it might look like he’s being bribed to deliver packages more efficiently to some residents.

Corruption requires explict quid pro quo. It is not corrupt to take an action that aligns with the interest of a person who gives you a gift, unless the official action was in direct response to that gift--a bribe. Terms matter. Accuracy and fairness matters. Regardless of what social media wants.
