Wade Dooley, age 43, a real farmer, a real conservationist, and a real Democrat for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture!

“Dooley has worked to implement conservation practices on the farm including no-till, cover crops, oxbow restoration and enrollment of tracts in the Conservation Reserve Program.”

It's illegal for the president to relieve student loan debt. It's completely fine for the president to unilaterally decide to have the head of a foreign nation black bagged on foreign soil.

Began the week with an optometrist appointment who kindly told me that I’m “on the edge of bifocals”. And that my friends is my 2026 theme at the ripe age of 41. 🤓

A little reflection on my new hobby, integrating @climatecentral.org data, and some of the "unseen" impacts of our changing climate for @iowafaithclimate.bsky.social. Give it a read! iowafaithandclimate.org/when-the-gro...

If you control the House, the Senate, and the Presidency... how is in the minority's fault?

Yet another stumbling block in the road. Renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels! And if you are angry about this, invest in organizations that are doing the work on the ground in YOUR state. (Most of us give more bang for your buck than giving to a political candidate.)

God this address is embarrassing.

What a load of lies and the UN Assembly just has to take it?

The article said it: “More drought and extreme heat, forest fires are starting earlier in the year.”

But it never used the words #climatechange.

Attribution studies show January fires are now 35% more likely in our warmed world. That’s the missing connection.

In Iowa? Did your congregation go solar thanks to the IRA?

Congress may repeal the credit that made it possible—and that affects every one of us who believes in faith-rooted climate action.

Happy Earth Day!

Here's hoping my org is still a c3 by the end of the day... oh what a time to be alive.

(I'm concerned and just trying to not too much energy on this Trump climate EO to be released today.)

Over 140 #Iowans in 43 different towns have taken action through @iowafaithclimate.bsky.social on opposing this bill!

If you live in #Iowa, identify as a person of faith, and haven't taken action yet, please join us in adding your voice.

#CalledToClimateAction
🚨 We’ve seen the amendments to the #Iowa Governor’s Energy Bill—and they’re still not good enough. As people of diverse faith and spirituality, we’re called to speak up for justice. This bill raises costs for #Iowans while protecting utility profits. That’s not moral leadership.
