Anti-trans legislation is just the way Republicans try to hide their desire to demand to see people's, especially children's, genitals. Because no normal and functioning human being thinks about others junk as much as Republicans do. It's fucking weird.

My car window was broken and my wallet was stolen from my car. I'm not a big believer in punitive justice, but the longer I sat in the DMV to get my ID replaced, the more draconian my hopes for punishment became. There should be extra criminal offenses tagged on for forcing me to endure the DMV.

This is especially troubling after a mass disabling event like COVID. Disabled people without adequate housing often end up in nursing facilities- nursing facilities who are owned by private equity. Those at the top have no incentive for accessibility when they profit on lack of accessibility.
Forcing the end of "work from home" means many people with disabilities will no longer be able to work and will have to hope they get accepted for disability payments or they'll end up homeless and dying on the streets.

Oh and the “Resistance” we’re going to see from liberals in the coming years will get them kylled because the civil rights movement that it is modeled after, as it is taught to all Americans, is a sanitized version of what people were really doing to resist.

If ever there is motivation to vote down ballot, Pennsylvania is one of the few states that mandates that insurers cannot discriminate against transgendered people and Medicaid covers gender affirming care. That's something worth keeping and voting for.

I'll be continuing to call my senators offices daily to ask how they're going to make up for the lost income from no longer being able to promote my books on TikTok. Because they can use TikTok to promote their campaigns but I can't use it to make money for my family and that doesn't seem right.
