The Blue Whale. The local pond now has a sheet of ice covering most of it, but the resident wildlife have got together to keep this small section clear, taking turns to circle and keep it ice free. Nature does it best.

I can't help thinking that journalists writing about how people have been suckered into Spotify's marketing by posting about their Wrapped have also been suckered into Spotify's marketing by writing about people posting about their Wrapped. As have people posting about journalists etc... ad inf.

In the same olden days I moved the Strathclyde business school's international distance learning MBA from some mainframe text to the new-fangled desktop publishing software. I had to read the lot. Always doubtful of MBAs.

I have no interest in broadening my social circle to incorporate a token racist. I think the thing about my behaviour that would stop a former friend coming out as a racist would be my refusal to stop berating them about their new-found racism. Is that the right answer?
It's got to the stage where if 'you don't know anyone whose voting for Reform' you need to broaden your social circle.
Or, perhaps, reflect on what it is about your behaviour that means your friends don't feel able to be open with you about politics.

When I had my brewery I cooled new beer using cold water run through a heat exchanger. That water was still clean so I saved it and used it to make the next batch of beer. I want to know why data centres can't make endless use the same water.

When I had my brewery I cooled new beer using cold water run through a heat exchanger. That water was still clean so I saved it and used it to make the next batch of beer. I want to know why data centres can't make endless use the same water.

I think Trump is missing Murdoch’s classic move here. He lets what they have solidly get published, even if it seems small. Then Trump emotionally sues (see below) and discovery begins and everything is fair game. He’ll be forced to testify & all manner of files will be unveiled and chewed over.
