Normally I post that I'm happy about getting a snow day. Which, of course, school is closed tomorrow so yay for that (I'm a teacher).

A crazed PC Engine fan insisted that PCE Ninja Gaiden is better than NES Ninja Gaiden in every way.
Guess he likes mind bogglingly choppy scrolling and games that have worse music than the original they're based on.

More Sega CD nostalgia! This time here's a proper look at the original Lunar: The Silver Star, the first release of the series.
It's definitely rough around the edges and doesn't make the best use of the hardware, but it's still a short, fun JRPG romp and I prefer it to the 32-bit versions by far.

Forgot a lot stuff from the Shining Force remake for GBA (Resurrection of Dark Dragon). Even at the end of this playthrough, I'm not sure if I like this one or the original better.
It's definitely still good, but there's just weird extra stuff along with quality of life changes.
