The second I hear someone use the words "woke" or "dei" in an unironic, derogatory, and/or negative connotation when I'm out in the world, I know. I really hate how fascism and propaganda can take any words and corrupt their meaning.

With every alarm raised by Democratic Congress members, the only thing I can think in response is: "Thank you for the update, will this motivate you to action? Do something, do anything at all! That's the whole reason you are there. DO SOMETHING!"

It is sad to see the blatant manipulation of basic moral principles, to the point Christian Nationalists can say "sin of empathy" with a straight face.
Call me crazy, but any movement or group that demonizes empathy are the bad guys. If empathy is a sin, I'm a sinner till I'm six feet under.

Where I work, I'm often involuntarily exposed to Fox News on a daily basis. For all that we talk of kids consuming brain rot, which I agree with, Fox News is boomer brain rot.

Honestly, I feel everything Trump is doing is to weaken the United States, waste its resources, and distract its population, so that NATO is weaker and Russia has no opposition for its own agenda. He's in Putin's pocket.
