This is completely shameful. Maine is the ONLY state without a policy to test rape kits. LD 2129 should never have been vetoed. Shame on you, Gov Mills. www.wmtw.com/article/gov-...

Just do one piece of one of these things and you’ll be doing something. Virtual town halls count, too!
Here’s how to stay in the fight:

📱 Use the 5 Calls app or Resist Bot to contact your elected officials daily.

🎤 Demand town halls. Show up at their public appearances.

🚫 Boycott evil corporations.

🗣️ Talk to your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

🌳 Build community power.

Protests aren’t the only tool in the anti-authoritarian toolkit, but they’re incredibly important. Protests help us see each other; they make it feel safer to refuse to obey the dictator, and make it more possible for us to organize mass non-cooperation.

It’s an essential step in the process.

Amid the flurry of extreme actions taken by the Administration, there’s one question I’ve been asked more than any other:

“What are you going to *do* about it?”

It’s a fair point—especially when the President has thus far avoided any real accountability.

I’ll do my best to address it. (1/14)
