Went down a rabbit hole on #deathbylightning on Netflix about the guy who assassinated president Garfield. At one point he gets kicked out of a sex cult, The Oneida Community, who is apparently now still in existence but as one of the largest silverware manufacturers in the world.

Played The Alters + watched The Free State of Jones and my strategic layer clicked. This is a game where you play as deserters hiding in the woods. Build a secret base, raid army warehouses, and free slaves without drawing too much attention from the miltar(ies).

After so many survival games spawned by Minecraft, it is odd to go back to Minecraft and find sort of no survival gameplay loop. There is likely no other game with as mature a world gen full of cool stuff to find, but also...no real need for the stuff.

I've known for a while now that Fettuccine Alfredo was invented specifically for American tourists in Rome, but after spending some times with my nephews it clicked for me that this was literally Italians doing "Fine. I give up. You can have mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for dinner."

Anyone else have that problem with Blender whenever you finish sculpting a head and turn it around Voldemort is back there. How's he keep getting there. Docs say nothing

Had a dream that Photoshop had a bug where sometimes you would open a project and a pop-up would say "Oops! Something burned down!" and a structure in your drawing would be replaced by sim-city style rubble.

If you read the bible a certain way, God's last act of creation made Adam's rib into Eve. So the, uh, Divine Stove's knob is still turned to "turn ribs into people". So what if someone accidentally turned the stove on and couldn't get it off. Anyway that's where the monsters in my book come from.

#1000xresist is the first visual novel I've tried and I am having a very good time. But I mean it is ethereal space giants with judeo-christian imagery being used for horror so of course i am.
