In the last couple of weeks David Pryce-Jones and Tom Stoppard, born a year apart in 1936 and 1937 in Vienna, have died in Great Britain. One can't help but think, as Jay Nordlinger remarked in the NYTimes obit of Pryce-Jones: "There aren't people like that anymore."
