The fact that we INTENTIONALLY decide to make it get dark earlier and worsen seasonal affective disorder intentionally is nonsense

My past self is an indelible part of me, and though saddled with a role and body that fought her, all she managed in spite of that built up to who I am today. Nothing essentially changed within me, except that which changes naturally with all major steps in life. I'm now just, free of many burdens.
