I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.
We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.
A vote for this bill is a mistake.

Drugs are smuggled in by semi submarines. These “go-fast” boats were a thing from the 1980’s - and never from Venezuela. Stopping illegal drugs IS NOT the rationale here. It’s something else.

As a bookish kid, I admired the Supreme Court for having the character to unanimously come out against segregation in the 1950s, when no other branch of our government would have had that courage.
So it saddens me to see it lose its way and endorse judging people for the color of their skin today.

Here's a scenario that someone should ask RFK Jr. about: an under-65 person with no major health conditions who is providing some in-person support for an older family member undergoing treatments that weaken the immune system. Can that person get a COVID shot?

A ground invasion of a U.S. city by the Fed combined with the bombing of a boat in Venezuela thought to possibly be carrying drugs just makes me wonder how close we are to them bombing a U.S. city for being Black and full of drugs. Cops bombed Philly in the 80s, it wouldn't even be unprecedented.
